There are remains of bones originating from the age of the primitive communal system, petroglyphs of Stone Grave (near the settlement of Terpenie in Zaporozhsky region), ancient stone sculptures; from the Scythian and Sarmat cultures – numerous burial mounds and ancient settlements. At the peninsula of the Crimea ruins of Greek settlements can be found.
