It is ranked recently as the world's 19th highest quality-of-life, according to The Economist Intelligence Unit. Portugal is one of the most favorite tourist destinations. It is the 14th most peaceful and the 13th most globalized country in the world. Lisbon is the capital city of Portugal. This is the 3rd largest Exclusive Economic Zone of the European Union and the 11th largest in the world.
