A warm shower and restaurant meals would mean up to US$120 a day. Changing cash or travelers checks in US dollars is easy in Cayenne. Dutch traveler’s checks are not accepted. Credit cards are accepted widely, you will have no problems getting cash advances at an ATM. Credit charges are billed at a better rate of exchange. Banking hours are 0745-1130 and 1500-1700 Monday to Friday.
