The education system of Monaco is well structured and the curriculum is laid in a way to match the international standards.
It is identical to the syllabi of France.
Students are introduced to the Monegasque history and culture along with the languages of the Principality from the elementary level.
Primary education is disseminated through ten, state-run schools, which includes 7 primary and 3 nursery schools.
The secondary education is disseminated through colleges like the Lycee Albert providing diploma courses in accounting, secretarial studies, followed by the hotel training, commercial studies by the Technical Lycee college of Monte Carlo, finally the Charles college which provides vocational training.
Literacy rate is very high and from the second half of 1990 the Government has been allocating a considerable amount in their education. The yearly session commences from September.
